In 2014, Domus launched its first natural wood collection to meet the growing demand from architects and designers for materials to complement their tile specifications and enhance their projects. The wood categories now include Engineered Wood, Reclaimed Wood and Solid Wood.
The Beauty of Wood
The introduction of wood flooring products was an immediate success with the specification of major projects such as Battersea Power Station Development and Foyles Flagship Bookstore in Central London, the first of many significant innovative projects.
We love natural wood. It captures nature’s beauty with all its infinite variation and detail. It is a wonderful material to specify. No two pieces are ever the same. The grain, knots, cracks and markings are unique, individual and never replicate.
It has extraordinary ecological and sustainable properties as a carbon capturing and renewable resource, and it’s an impeccable material that turns into beautiful interiors.

Domus offers three types of natural wood flooring: Engineered Wood, Reclaimed Wood, and Solid Wood.
Engineered Wood
By far the most popular wood flooring specified for commercial and residential developments, this pre-finished material is available in three major collections: Domus Wood, Pergo Wood & Robur Wood.
Domus Wood — oak engineered flooring with precision tongue and groove construction, pre-finished and available in 24 exquisite colours in natural, cool and warm tones. Plank, chevron, herringbone and strip formats are available.
Pergo — oak engineered flooring with the patented easy-fit PerfectFold™ 3.0 click system, pre-finished and available in 29 inviting colours in natural, cool and warm tones. Plank, herringbone and strip formats are available.
Robur — oak engineered wood flooring forested and produced to exacting and responsible standards. PEFC-certified European oak. 12 colours are available in various plank, herringbone and strip formats.
Bjelin — oak, ash and walnut engineered flooring with the Woodura® surface technology, in conjunction with a high-density Compositek™ core, provides exceptional impact resistance. Plank formats in various sizes are available.
The above collections have a wide selection of plank widths and lengths, parquet formats in herringbone and chevrons, grades and finishes.
Reclaimed Wood
Exclusive to Domus, this distinctive boutique range, Docks Herringbone — is an engineered flooring product made from reclaimed oak rescued from old boats, barns and demolished or refurbished buildings. It has a tongue and groove construction and is pre-finished.

Solid Wood
For the wood purist, Domus has partnered with renowned Danish manufacturer — Hørning to provide high-quality premium solid floors in parquet, plank and custom-made designs in oak, ash and douglas fir.
A comprehensive wood specification studio with wood samples to take away is located in our London Clerkenwell showroom where designers can explore the Engineered, Reclaimed and Solid Wood collections and ranges.
