The re-generation of one of London's most iconic landmarks

Battersea Power Station, is at the heart of a massive new development that includes 3,500 homes, offices, shops, restaurants, a theatre and a six-acre park.

Phase 1 of the Battersea Power Station development, Circus West Village, designed by dRMM and Simpson Haugh & Partners, involves the construction of over 850 apartments integrating retail, leisure and hospitality areas. For the show apartments, designed and finished by Johnson Naylor, pre-finished engineered oak herringbone floors from the Domus Parquet Collection were selected, featuring two specially crafted colours in rich brown and light natural tones.

Over 50,000sqm of this material was produced to furnish each and every apartment floor of these prestigious buildings in combination with Domus' large format bathroom Porcelain tiles and mosaics.

"The range of the oak colours and tonal variation integrated perfectly with our interior design scheme. The floor finish has continued to look as good as new after many months of heavy use."

-Matthew Hill, Johnson Naylor
