A haven of creativity & community
Having opened in summer 2019, The Collective Canary Wharf is billed as a haven of creativity and community in the heart of the City. The beautifully designed studios and shared spaces provide guests with a stylish, inspiring environment to enjoy for either one night or longer. The development boasts a swimming pool and adjoining sky bar on the 20th floor, a wellness zone with a spa offering health and beauty treatments, a cinema, a multi-floor music venue, a café and a restaurant. A bespoke cultural programme provides a variety of events for guests including yoga, nutrition classes, live music, craft workshops, coding and inspiring talks, to name but a few.
Live, socialise, eat & work
A new community-focused place to live, socialise, eat and work, The Collective Canary Wharf reflects the company’s vision for the future of co-living, designed to bring people together and enable people to lead more fulfilling lives. The Collective’s in house design team have created a series of thoughtfully designed spaces which offer guests different areas to both work and relax in, including shared co-working spaces, bookable meeting rooms, a library, cosy snug areas a gym and swimming pool.
Easy to clean wood-effect flooring
Domus’ Pergo Laminate wood-effect flooring provides design continuity across the shared amenity spaces, including the living and working areas, meeting rooms, guest library, bar and restaurant. This practical flooring material offers low price points along with exceptional design and long-lasting durability, making it ideal for heavy-traffic areas. The deep surface embossing replicates the authentic look and feel of wood. At the same time, the laminate is easy to clean and utilises the innovative AquaSafe technology, which creates a closed surface and tight click joint that protects the floor against water and other spillages.
Connecting with nature
In a pale oak tone, Pergo Laminate wood-effect flooring brings a modern-classic look to the shared amenity spaces. Paired with green painted walls, green upholstered seating and a vintage-style wooden table and chairs in the meeting room, shared work areas and library, the spaces provide a connection with nature through colour, plants, lots of natural light and textures and patterns which imitate those found in nature, such as the wood-effect flooring and wooden furniture.
Luxurious details stand out against a neutral, modern-classic base
Elsewhere in the shared amenity areas, the flooring is used as part of different colour and material palettes to provide a more glamorous feel. Paired with dark blue painted walls adorned with modern art plus a mix of blue, grey, mustard, and orange coloured upholstered seating, the spaces exude a modern trend-led atmosphere. In the bar and restaurant area, this glamorous atmosphere is turned up a notch, with rust coloured velvet booth seating, pink velvet upholstered tub chairs, gold metal lighting, pink walls and a carved wooden panelled wall. Domus’ wood effect flooring offers a neutral, modern-classic base on which these other luxurious details stand out and make a real impact in a space guests can relax and switch off from the daily grind.
