One Clapham: Material at Scale
Nearly 21,000m² of flooring and tiles were supplied for One Clapham, a major residential development by Mount Anvil, with interiors by Atelier MN. Yet behind the scale is a more individual material story, with bespoke flooring, colour and pattern developed specifically for the scheme.
A Floor Designed for One Clapham
Within the private apartments, the flooring called for something beyond a conventional plank installation. Domus worked with supply partner LX Hausys to develop a bespoke laying pattern using Harmony Unity LVT. Approximately 9,500m² of LVT was adapted specifically for the project, creating the individual components needed to form the pattern consistently across the apartments. Installed by Titan Flooring Limited, the result is a distinctive floor conceived specifically for One Clapham, but designed from the outset to work at scale. A further 1,500m² of Pergo Visby laminate flooring was supplied for the affordable apartments.
Colour Beyond the Collection
The approach continued into the bathrooms, where Atelier MN had a particular palette in mind, centred around shades of blue and green. Rather than selecting the closest colours from an existing collection, Domus worked alongside Atelier MN and WRS Contractors to develop the glazes. Through sampling and refinement, the colour direction was translated into surfaces produced specifically for One Clapham.

From Development to Delivery
One Clapham brought together two very different aspects of material specification: the consistency required to deliver flooring across a development of this scale, and the close attention to colour and detail needed within individual spaces. Working across product development, sampling, specification and supply, Domus helped translate Atelier MN’s material direction into surfaces that could be delivered consistently throughout the scheme.
