At Domus Clerkenwell, the team hosted the launch of Archidoodle City: An Architect’s Activity Book. Created by Steve Bowkett, and published by Laurence King Publishing, the book follows the success of Bowkett’s first interactive publication, Archidoodle. The sequel focuses on the city with an array of illustrations that pose different architectural drawing challenges for the user.
At the launch, Bowkett was joined by publisher Laurence King, who both spoke to a large audience about publishing design and architecture books, discussing what makes a successful concept for a book and how to pitch ideas to publishers.
200 architects and designers attended the fun and interactive event, which included a drawing competition to win an illustration signed by Steve Bowkett. Many guests posted their own architectural drawings on social media, having finished the ‘challenges’ posted around the showroom. Click here to view the event photos on Facebook.
