Magma DIMA 02

Lisa Burke of Lisa Burke Interiors worked alongside Charlotte Blythe to design and renovate a five bedroom period property in South East London which was built in 1927 as part of the Dulwich Estate. As part of the renovation they had to re-configure an en-suite in the loft area of the house, positioned off the master suite. The main issue was lack of storage so they decided to design a bespoke unit in the eaves to maximise all possible storage options.

A soft flow of materials

Lisa’s aim was to create a soft flow of materials and minimise the grout joints, so she chose large format Magma slabs from Domus in mocha to envelop the walls and floor. Her clients wanted a glamorous feel to the bathroom which was achieved through the brassware details such as taps, towels rails and shower plus through the pink herringbone tiles used as a tactile feature wall.
